About us
We know every hull in this fleet personally.
Who we are
Maritime
Maritime is a South Florida charter operator, not a booking site. There is a difference, and you feel it on the day. We run our fleet out of South Florida — from a Fjord 45 built for a fast afternoon to a Pershing 116 GTX with a beach club at the waterline.
Every one of them is a boat we have been aboard. We know how each rides when the bay gets short and choppy, which ones hold shade through a two o’clock sun, and which crews are worth requesting by name. When you call and describe your day, that is the knowledge answering you — not a search filter.
Our guests range from families doing their first four‑hour charter to owners who charter with us monthly. The standard does not move between them.
How it works
Four steps, no friction.
Step one
Tell us the day
Date, headcount, and what the occasion is. A birthday, a client day and a family Sunday are three different boats.
Step two
We shortlist
You get two or three yachts that genuinely fit, with an honest note on the trade‑offs between them.
Step three
Confirm and provision
Deposit holds the date. Balance is due five to seven days out. Chef and catering options are available, or bring your own.
Step four
Step aboard
Meet the crew dockside in Miami. From there the day belongs to you.
Good to know
Common questions.
How many guests can come aboard?
Thirteen. That is a US Coast Guard limit on chartered vessels of this class, not a house rule, and it applies from the Fjord 45 right through to the Pershing 116 GTX. Infants count toward the total.
What is included in the rate?
Certified captain and crew, fuel for the chartered period, water, sodas and ice, towels, cups, utensils, sunscreen, the sound system, life jackets and safety equipment, and water toys deployed once we anchor. A jet ski can be added on request.
Can we bring food and alcohol?
Yes — charters are bring‑your‑own for both. Every yacht has an icebox, fridge and freezer aboard. If you would rather not shop, tell us and we will arrange provisioning or catering ahead of your date.
What is added to the quoted price?
A 7% tax and an 18% crew gratuity are added to every total. Those are the only two additions — the rate you see on each yacht page is otherwise the rate you pay.
When is payment due?
A deposit confirms and holds your date. The balance is due five to seven days before departure.
How long is a charter?
Four, six or eight hours on most hulls. Four is enough for the Miami island run; six gives you a proper anchorage stop; eight is the one people book the second time. Multi‑day Bahamas charters are arranged separately.
Are pets allowed?
Generally not. A few owners will make an exception on their hull — ask us before you book and we will check.
Where do we depart from?
Miami — we board between South Beach and Downtown, and we will confirm the exact dock when your charter is booked. Alternate pickup points can be arranged for larger charters.
Still have a question?
Call and ask. Someone who has actually been on these boats will pick up.
